Notarized/Certified Translations
We offer notarized/certified translations for a variety of official documents including university degrees, birth certificates, legal documents, contracts and various certificates.
A notarized/certified translation is a translation made by a sworn translator appointed by the Ministry of Justice. The final document includes the original, the translation, and a statement by a sworn translator that the translation is true, accurate and correct. Everything is bound together with a string and certified with a sworn translator's stamp.
In general, you should deliver us a notary copy of the document, and not the original as you may want to keep it. A notarized copy is a photocopy of the original document that has been certified by a notary public to be a true and accurate copy of the original document, and is sometimes referred to as a certified copy.
